The artwork is by Esther Samuels-Davis. Wuv's first show will be this Saturday at Esther's wedding. Then Wuv will do a short three day tour with Cathedral Ghost from Reno: Friday, May 25th at the Blood Orange Infoshop, 3485 University Avenue, Riverside, CA - (probably) 7 PM // donations (during the Riverside DIY Fest! So tons of rad shit popping off left and right) with Cathedral Ghost, Dear John Letters, Moxiebeat Saturday, May 26th at Beauty is Pain (warehouse in LA...address forthcoming...maybe) - 9 PM // $5 with Cathedral Ghost, Crazy Band, Protect Me, Whimsy Sunday May 27th somewhere in Santa Barbara with some peeps (hopefully) THEN Wuv will be playing this dank show in San Francisco on Tuesday, May 29: (i can never make images look tight so the info is: Tuesday, May 29th at Submission at 18th and Mission, San Francisco, CA - 730 PM with Joyride!, Thrishi, Tender Buttons, Glass Cake this is a PLP BENEFIT SHOW!! $5 or $3 with a paperback book in okay to good condition. Donation specifics: Because of prison restrictions and organization policies we dont accept most fiction and hardcover books!! Some exceptions may apply (we will accept hardback dictionaries) but in general that is the rule. our greatest need is for money donation, postage, dictionaries and non-fiction educational books (especially hispanic culture and history, psychology and spirituality - no Bibles though) also, art books and how to books (especially how to draw) )
THEN there will be a few more shows in late June with Thee Indoors and then maybe one in July with Dreamdecay and then a West Coast Tour with Dear John Letters late summer! Woo! |

well here i am no alibi 8 months since i've had anything to say - waiting, plotting, saving, biding my time, moving, justifying, and now, finally, extracting my head from its sandy hole (maybe only half, only a side, definitely not entirely), despite the comfort that hole has brought. but i return bearing some things of substance! two new releases!! Little Green Monster - Filling the Spirit the monstah's brought us another 11-track saga of transpacific musings. the Dear John Letters - Sons of Daedalus a real treat: Sarah has stepped off the page and finally plugged in her goddamned electric guitar! 6 four-piece renditions of the DJL soul you've all believed in since the first time it struck your pagan ears. other than that, there is a huge northern release on the way DREAMDECAY - FERN (download it here) that's going to be an LP with some smash artwork and even more smashing tunes from Justin G. and Co., Seattle residents and nogoodniks. it's a split release with Nuestra Lengua. other than that, some things have been stirring here in Albany. a new mailing address: 810 Washington Ave Albany, CA 94706 and a new project: Wuv, starring Rosie and Buck and myself. there'll be a demo and a few shows in May, so come back here occasionally and see if i haven't croaked yet.
